If there's one place on the planet that doesn't need more playing cards, it's Vegas. Or then again, does it?

After seeing these Monarch cards by Theory11 , we're hoping one of the properties jumps on board and invests in these incredible cards.

  • And Here's that Callaway Spot from Factory

We posted the behind-the-scenes piece earlier today, but didn't dig around enough to see if the actual spot had been made live. Looks like it's been up for a few days. The spots (there are more to come) were concepted by Factory Design Labs, Denver. Justin Timberlake was a consultant on them. Nice work for a staid category.

  • Behind the Scenes at Factory's Callaway Shoot in Vegas

A few weeks ago, the crew at Denver's Factory Design Labs came to Vegas to pull off a pretty tremendous shoot for a product that doesn't typically get beyond nice photos of someone teeing off on a beautiful golf course. • Lola Pix Stiffs Cast & Crew?

    / Comments (0)

We've been hearing rumors about local production shop Lola Pictures not paying cast and crew and it sounds like things have come to a head, with a few irked crew members camping out in front of the Lola Pictures office until they get paid.

Unfortunately our crack team of Pulitzer prize winning photo-journalists are on assignment in the Himalayan Hinterlands and weren't able to swing by the scene to catch the sit-in in action so if any of our fair readers have any info they'd care to share we'd love to hear it.

We strongly believe that for our creative community to grow and thrive that anyone playing in our sandbox play fair AND get a fair shake. And that goes both ways -- we're sure there is another side to this story and we want to share it. If anyone from Lola cares to weigh in on this, we welcome your thoughts and perspective.
