If spending about five days drawing NYC wasn't that impressive, then how about his process for creating the video? He filmed himself drawing using the iMotionHD app on his iPhone and exporting about 12,000 photos per half hour and then finally combining it all into this video.

This anti-drinking campaign for Allianz Insurance from OlgilvyOne Brazil put digital mirrors in bars and delayed the image by several seconds to demonstrate how drinking affects reaction time. The movie Branded is coming out on Friday and we feel obligated to mention it.
Advertising/marketing dudes Jamie Bradshaw and Aleksandr Dulerayn are the writers and directors of this dystopian sci-fi flick that might hit close to work for some of us.
Here's a summary of the plot:
After Misha skyrockets to the top of the advertising business, a tragic mishap on the set of one of his productions torpedoes his career and he retreats into self-imposed exile. Ten years later, Misha returns to a radically changed world and finds himself plagued by visions of bizarre and terrifying creatures with the ability to influence peopleÂ’s thoughts, desires and actions. Creatures only he can see.
He soon realizes the creatures are part of a clandestine campaign unleashed by a rival advertising agency to make fat the new fabulous and create a new era of uncontrolled consumer appetite. In order to save mankind, Misha uses his own considerable marketing skills to launch an ingenious plan to try to eradicate the plague. But the corporate legions will not go down without a fight.

Oh yeah and Leelee Sobieski still exists, which is crazy because we thought the 90s ate her.
If you've ever been to a Dan Deacon live show, then you may already know it is a do-it-yourself light and music spectacular with no rival. But now, you can really be part of the show.
Wham City, the record label for Dan Deacon has released an app that takes over your phone and uses it's functions to add to the show. The screen, LED and speakers of your phone synch to the live show with no data or wifi.
Watch this terrible trailer for an idea of the app:
Here's some classic Deacon for all you non-initiated.
It's aways interesting to see the multitude of non-traditional ways agencies go about hiring creatives. Does this mean the resume is dead? Probably not. But it does go to show how little a paper resume is when compared to showing creative skill.
